SYSTEM

Give your Fancy Full Scope – Systematically.

The System-series of GAE consists of a construction-kit of different loudspeaker-systems that can substitute standard elements currently popular. These sound reinforcement systems represent an enormous flexibility as well as a perfect design and up-to-date acoustic characteristics. The loudspeakers assimilate to their environment – always offering a brilliant acoustic result. Because it’s the interaction of the small details that makes visions become innovations.

GAE SYSTEM 6GAE System 6

GAE System 6 The GAE System 6 is an extremely compact passive 2-way system with high power capacity. Because of it’s manageable and unintrusive construction the loudspeaker is applicable to a great number of tasks.

The 6” transducer is vented, contains a carbon-fibre membrane and enables high loading capacity. The high frequencies are transmitted by a horn-loaded 1” compression driver. This combination produces a convincingly natural sound and a perfect audibility. In comparison with other high frequency loudspeakers the System 6 produces significantly less distortion at high sound pressure levels. An elaborate passive crossover subdivides the input signal in low/mid and high frequency range thereby providing an extraordinarily mellow and natural sound.
The multi-layered, birch-ply enclosure is sealed with a black structure varnish by standard. Different RAL colours are available. The loudspeaker’s baffle and it’s components are protected by a solid metal front grill which is covered by a stylish acoustic foam. On demand this foam can be delivered in different colours. For mounting with optional accessories the System 6 enclosure has been supplies with M8 threaded shafts (2 on the right side, 1 on the bottom and 1 on the top). Two M6 threaded shafts on the back allow an attachment of an optional ball-joint-mounting, for instance Omnimount 20.5WA. If needed a 35mm stand flange can be attached to the underneath in combination with UB6/v.

The connectors are of the Neutrik Speakon NL4 type. An connection diagram on the back describes the internal switching. The 16ohms nominal impedance enables a simple linking of numerous systems attached to one amplifier channel.

GAE SYSTEM 10GAE System 10

GAE System 10 The GAE System 10 is a compact passive two way system that can be put to various applications. It excels in natural recording characteristics, a linear frequency response curve in the whole spectre of transmission and a high power-handling capacity.

The loudspeaker components are placed in a multifunctional enclosure that is only 535x330x300mm small. The HF-sound is emitted in an angle of 90° x 50°. The horn construction has been manufactured from metal and is extremely resistant to mechanical influence. The horn can be 90° rotated which allows an adjustment of the irradiation to a horizontal or vertical mounting.

The 10” loudspeaker is situated in a vented enclosure and disposes of a power handling capacity of 200W according to IEC-norm 268-5. Due to an extremely high peak load capacity sound pressure levels up to 120dB (1m) can be obtained.
The System 10 is suitable as f.o.h.-loudspeaker for the near field application (among other possibilities as wedge with a positioning angle of 45°) and as delay-line loudspeaker for big audience events. GAE System 10
For mobile use two small handling recesses have been discreetly supplemented to the side walls of System 10. The enclosure is equipped with M8 threaded shafts on the back, M10 threaded shafts on the top and each side walls to enable the use of metric bolts for installation or the accompanying installation-yoke (UB10/v). The stand flange can also be replaced by a M10 threaded shaft which allows the application of the horizontal yoke UB10/h. The connectors are of the Neutrik Speakon NL4 type. An connection diagram on the back describes the internal switching.

GAE SYSTEM 12GAE System 12

GAE System 12 The GAE System 12 has been developed under the premises of achieving the highest degree of flexibility and adaptability possible regarding the acoustic and technical features of the product. This concept culminates in the vast variety of possible acoustic applications (installation, touring, gala) as well as the flying-mechanical realisation of architects’ specific demands by an intelligent enclosure preparation.

All transducers have been outfitted with N/DYM-magnets to enable lowest possible weight. The components are of highest quality - whether driver, filter or enclosure - the design is most elegant and yet the system meets the motto: “Form follows function”.

The System 12 is a multi-purpose two-way loudspeaker system that can be either used as an active (powered by two separate amplifier channels – model System 12a) or passive (integrated frequency crossover – model System 12) system.
The vented 12” N/DYM loudspeaker of System 12 is outfitted with a power handling capacity of 350W according to IEC-norm 268-5 and thus capable of producing sound pressure levels of up to more than 130dB (1m). Ideally the low-middle transducer is perfected by supplying a 70W 1.4” N/DYM HF-compression driver. The driver is situated on a 80° x 60° (system variant 12-8) or by choice a 60° x 40° (system variant 12-6) square horn construction. The hand-laminated fibre-glass horn is extremely robust and resistant to mechanical influence.

The System 12 combines high output levels with a natural and distortion-free sound (thanks to High-Efficiency-Crossover-Design) in a compact enclosure. Being a full-range loudspeaker it can be used for Medium Throw Purpose as well as for the hard touring routine and installation.

Characteristics:

·    elaborate, unobtrusive design and perfect performance for best acoustic results
·    professional audio quality for all kinds of installation and live-application
·    high flexibility, granted by free choice between a 80° x 60° or 60° x 40° horn

GAE SYSTEM 15GAE System 15

GAE System 15 The GAE System 15 is a two-way system which is completely compatible to System 12 but by contrast to this has been supplied with an enlarged, more powerful deep-tone response. It consists of a vented 15”-N/DYM low/mid-transducer and a horn loaded 1.4” N/DYM compression driver.

System 15 has as well been developed under the premises of achieving the highest degree of flexibility and adaptability possible regarding the acoustic and technical features of the product.

For System 15 the active operating mode is available optionally. In practice this concept offers a huge number of advantages: Usually it is driven as passive full-range loudspeaker (model variant System 15), add one amp-channel and you find additional power and control in the bass-spectre for the active version (model System 15a).

The System 15 is predestined for complex challenges in sport arenas, multi-purpose halls, clubs and theatres as it offers an enormous audibility and – for the active variant – raised power and system control.

The vented 15” N/DYM loudspeaker of System 15 is outfitted with a power handling capacity of 350W according to IEC norm 268-5 and thus capable of producing sound pressure levels of up to more than 130dB (1m). Ideally the low-middle transducer is perfected by supplying a 70W 1.4” N/DYM HF-compression driver. The driver is situated on a 80° x 60° (system variant 15-8) or by choice a 60° x 40° (system variant 15-6) square horn construction. The hand-laminated fibre-glass horn is extremely robust and resistant to mechanical influence.

The multi-layered, birch-ply enclosure is sealed with a black structure varnish by standard. Different RAL colours are available. The loudspeakers’ baffle and it’s components are protected by a solid metal front grill which is covered by a stylish acoustic foam. On demand this foam can be delivered in different colours.
